Enjoy!" @katia_musik How are you? I’m Catalina, or better known as Katia. I was born in Colombia where I developed my passion for music since I was little. My path as a DJ began a little more than 3 years ago. I currently live in Madrid hoping to take my career to another level and be able to launch myself as a producer very soon. How would you describe your mix? With this mix i wanted to represent my deepest, darkest and most hypnotic side; driving a curve where definitely what predominates are the atmospheres above the speed. I selected tracks that characterizes me, from several of my favorite producers of the moment, and that perfectly reflects all the emotions that I like to create during my sets. Which DJs & producer are inspiring, according to you? I’m constantly discovering new producers and DJs so the list is getting bigger and bigger... Artistically, I greatly admire Stef Mendesidis’ live signature and D Dan as a DJ in terms of musical selection... I also want to highlight producers like Orbe, Luigi Tozzi, Seddig, Valentino Mora and Save your Toll who have a sound that defines me quite well. What was your best moment on stage ? I have two moments very present in my head. The first is definitely when I went to Lisbon with the NAV collective. The people there were very warm and they made me feel very comfortable in the dj booth…I think it is the gig where I have enjoyed and connected with the public the most.
